Ideal was purchased at the 2009 Bar H fall sale with Sandhill Farms, Havilland, KS. Ideal was appropriately named having the right amount of muscle, body depth and length in an ideal phenotypic package. He is a moderate framed, easy fleshing bull much the same as his sire who was the talk of the fall sale season in Canada along with his progeny.

With an outstanding dam that has never missed in the Bar H program we are confident in this young sires future.

His first calves have met out expectations.  At GLM Herefords birth weight average of 86 lbs and actual weaning weight of 655 lbs.

We had admired the Tundra line of cattle for sometime. At Denver in 2007 we found 16S, who had the kind of female behind him we wanted. 16S was purchased to maintain fleshing ability, performance, and moderate mature size. His calves are proving us correct. 16S is owned with Topp Herefords, ND and Williams Hilltop Polled Herefords, MN.

When Linda saw Online in Denver as a 2 yr. old she was impressed. We decided at that point to go in search of a son we could use. We saw Leader as a calf in July at Kevin Jensen's on his 12 yr mother. It took till December to get him bought and it was worth it. His calves have been impressive. They are long, thick and short marked. The Leader daughters have turned out to be everthing we expected of them. They are beautiful uddered, moderate framed females that rarely miss.
